Then if you get 3 packs of QLs with lighting node cores, you could have 2 RGB controllers doing 4 fans each. The CoCore has 6 channels, so it's good to go.įor RGB, the CoCore from the AIO (if it's what you have) could take care of its own ML and the exhaust QL (i believe we can mix fan types on this controller? someone correct me if i'm wrong!) That said, you could cut on fan controllers for sure by using powered PWM hubs, it seems a bit overkill as it is 🙂ĭepending on which AIO it is (if it has a Commander core), you may only need one controller taking care of fan motors.įront intake, side intake, back exhaust, that's 3 channels you need on top of the AIO fans. More flow between GPU and AIO also means you'll exhaust some heat to the back and not all through the AIO, which would be no bueno. You may find you have to clean the interior less often than with a balanced or negative pressure setup, which is good. All it does here is you'll be in a positive pressure setup, which means less dust, since you only intake through the filters.
Don't worry about the balance between push and pull.
